Congrats to last week's winner: Joanie! Go to her blog to check out the rest of this card. It is just over the top!
Ruth's choice: Wendy Coffman! Ruth especially loves the flower on this one (and this was a close second for me too).
Franny's choice: Brenda Frerichs!
This week's color dare is Ruby!
Materials used:
Paper: White Daisy, Ruby
Stamps: Love Blooms
Ink: Tuxedo Black (not CTMH), Ruby, Slate
Other: Cranberry Gems (from the Pear and Partridge card WOTG)
I am not having a lesson today. I am celebrating NEW Close to My Heart colors. I chose Ruby because all the rest are neutrals. Feel free to use any of the new colors on your project this time around!
Here is Franny's card:
I really like the Ruby with the black background. She used the Merry and Bright stamp set with Ruby Ink, White Daisy and Black Paper, clear sparkles, and the Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon for the bow, died with Ruby ink.
Our guest designer, Marie Flayer, wowed me with a choice of FIVE cards! She told me to pick one. They were all gorgeous, but I had to pick one, so here it is. Please go to Marie's blog and look at the rest of her Ruby creations!
It was a tie between this one and the Birthday card. I'm sticking with the Christmas theme, so I chose this one. :) Great work, Marie. Thanks for stepping up to the challenge!
Now it's your turn. Create a project using the featured colors. You must use Close to My Heart
(CTMH) products to participate, but you may use other products as well. You will
get bonus points if you use 100%, current CTMH products! Your project can be
anything as long as there is paper in it. Examples are: scrapbooking layouts,
cards, 3D items, altered items, etc. You may combine as many challenges as you
want, but please make sure you use only the colors in our challenge. Feel free
to add any neutrals in our color palette to your project.
Take a photo of your project, upload it to your blog or online gallery, and link your post up here. You must provide a link to your post, not just to your blog in general. Please include a link to our site and our challenge photo on your blog post. You have until Thursday @ 8PM to link your work. Thanks so much, and have fun!
