Color Dare #23 - Gypsy & Sky

Welcome back to Color My Heart. I am in sunny Alabama right now. There was a blizzard about to hit northern Wisconsin on the day we were supposed to leave for our vacation, so we decided to leave a day early. We missed the blizzard, but guess what. I didn't get my color dare project done! Oh well, not to worry, we have 2 guest designers this week!

First, congrats to Mary Thompson for winning last week's color dare with this cute card. I love the sparkly trees and embossed snowflakes!

This week's colors are tints of purple and blue:
Gypsy
Sky

Lesson: Tints are colors with a little white added to them. Often tints are called pastels. They are used to give a softer effect and are usually calming. The calming properties make them ideal to use in baby's rooms to help them sleep.

Our first guest designer is Marie Flayer. She made a lovely quilt card that looks like she put a lot of work into:

Our second guest designer is Linda Anderson. She made a cute friendship card - I love the gears embossing. (I sure wish CTMH would make embossing folders.)

Now it's your turn! Please read the sidebar for our challenge rules and remember, this dare will be open for two weeks. I will try to make a project when I get home. In the meantime, have lots of fun, and have a very merry Christmas!

    1. Janet, you still have time to participate in the Gypsy and Sky challenge. You have until 9pm central on Thursday. A new dare will be posted on Friday, but you will have to wait till then to see the colors. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
