Color Dare #39 - Gypsy, Sky, & Outdoor Denim

Hi everybody! I hope you've had a great week. Mine was busy, and it's about to get busier with a bridal shower tomorrow and my daughter's birthday on Sunday. So you have an idea why I'm a little late posting this. Sorry! If you're joining us for the first time, I will let you know what we are all about. I will give you a set of colors, and you can use those colors to complete a project and post it here. If you don't have the exact colors, that's okay, just use the closest that you have. I encourage using some or all Close To My Heart products, but if you don't have any, that's okay too.

I want to congratulate Joyce Lau for winning last week's challenge! She made a simple, but striking card:

This week's color dare is based off of a blouse that my daughter wore in one of her portraits. I had a request for purple, so I give you this combination of cool colors:

Gypsy
Sky
Outdoor Denim

I made a set of thank-you cards for my daughter's birthday. Please visit my blog to find out more details.

Lesson: Cool colors are the colors on the side of the color wheel from green to purple.

Here is a  project from our first guest designer, Kristine Tenase!

This is from our second guest designer, Jodi Brewster!

And here is the awesome design team, with some wonderful creations. PLEASE go visit their blogs because there is some cool stuff about these creations you'll want to see!

Now it's your turn. Create a project using the suggested colors. Take a photo of it and post it to your blog or online gallery. Link your post up here at the bottom of this page. Be sure to include a link to us in your post! Make sure you don't add extra colors, but neutrals are okay. Please read the sidebar for complete rules. Most importantly, have fun!

  2. Sarah I love your train card! Which stamp set has a train in it? I am looking for a train stamp for a friend of my sister's.

    1. It's called "birthday boy." It's retired. I don't think there's a current one.
