Color Dare #300--Bashful, Mink and Pacifica and Prize Alert!

We are celebrating this week! We have reached the 300th Color Dare challenge. That's 6 years of providing a creative challenge featuring Close to My Heart colors.  We've seen many wonderful colors come and go and have had lots of fun (and creative challenges) with all of them.

It started several years ago when blog originator Sarah Stone asked on a Close to My Heart Bulletin Board if anyone would be interested in participating in a Close to My Heart colors challenge back in 2012. Many of us responded yes and she started the Color My Heart Color Dare blog to challenge us to use the wonderful CTMH colors.  The first edition of the Color My Heart Color Dare blog was on May 25, 2012. At the end of 2012 Sarah had a Design Team call and invited 7 of us to join the first ever Color My Heart Color Dare Design Team which began in January 2013.  (Only Marie Flayer is still with the Color Dare DT.)  Thank you Sarah for your vision and hard work in getting this Color Dare challenge blog going for so many of us to enjoy! Thank you also to the many wonderful DT members, Guest Designers and participants for all the hard work and inspiration they have provided.

Since this is such a special Color Dare we are going to invite the Diamond Award Winner for challenge #300 to select colors for a future Color Dare challenge. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

This blog title says "Prize Alert!" so it's time to explain that.

How would you like to win a US Priority Medium sized box full of stamps, papers, embellishments?  It will be a Mystery Box packed full with Close to My Heart supplies! To be eligible for the prize you must do 2 things--create and enter challenge #300 AND leave a comment on this blog post that says you would like to win this prize. (Must be a US resident to win this Mystery Box).

This week we are challenging you to "All and Only" using these colors: Bashful, Mink and Pacifica. We use CTMH color names for reference... however, you are welcome to use any products as long as you match closest to the colors below. Black and White are always free to use but please Do Not Use any other colors.

All challenges last for 2 weeks to give you extra time to get your creative juices flowing. The Design Team will award weekly blog badges for their favorite entries and a random prize winner will be drawn from all winning entries each month.

Here is some inspiration from our awesome Design Team. If you have a chance please stop by our blogs to see how we made these projects and leave a comment.

  9. I have been in conversation with Carrie Simmonds and she has been coming up with an error to make a comment. I'm testing to see if there is any other problem, and if she is unable to comment consider this her comment that she would be interested in winning the mystery box prize.
